The new lighting tower TecnoGen HT PK10/4SX with its hydraulic elevation system, is an indispensable piece of equipment in mining and oil field, as well as in the rental sector, in public and private construction, and in civil defence.
Besides its versatility, it stands out for its compactness, toughness and easy of use.
Easy Handling
The HT PK10/4 SX is carefully equipped to enable easy and effi cient use. A single operator is able to set and run the lighting tower without assistance.
The lighting tower HT PK10/4SX can be easily placed with a crane through THE CENTRAL LIFTING EYE or with a FORKLIFT thanks to the guides on the base.
Optimal stability is obtained through the FOLDING HANDLES PLACED ON 4 STABILIZING FEET and verifying the proper setting through the POSITIONING LEVELS. The STABILIZING FEET are all adjustable so as to ensure stability to the lighting unit.
It is available in option with a KIT THAT ALLOWS POSITIONING OF THE LIGHTHEADS FROM THE GROUND.

THE HYDRAULIC MAST WITH A ROTATION OF 350° on industrial bearings is equipped with a double safety braking system: the fi rst one is useful to KEEP THE ORIENTATION of the spotlights on the working area; the other SAFETY BRAKE avoids involuntary spins of the mast during transport.
THE HYDRAULIC GALVANIZED STEEL MAST REACHES A MAXIMUM OF 9 METERS IN HEIGHT AND IS COMPOSED OF 7 EXTENDABLE SECTIONS. The fi nal part of each section is reinforced by a thick properly welded ring.
The easy sliding of the sections and the perfect vertical alignment are favoured by distance rings placed on each side. The WIDE SURFACE OF THE SECTION'S OVERLAP guarantees greater stability and durability of the lighting unit.
The raising time is 11 seconds and the descent lasts 19 seconds, at the end of the descent the speed is further reduced to prevent counterblows that may damage the metal halide lamps.

The 4 X1000 W METAL HALIDE LAMPS, with IP65 protection can lighten a surface of more than 4000 m2. The spotlights can be turned on separately through switches placed on the control panel.

That’s why it is equipped with ACOUSTIC INDICATORS during the raising and the descent of the mast. In correspondence to the brake there is a safety switch: if the brake accidentally disconnects, the tower automatically descends with an intermittent acoustic signal.
The standard equipment includes an EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON that stops the generator in any dangerous situation and a METAL BAR FOR EARTHING.
The 4 stabilizers, all extendable and adjustable, avoid any possible risk of overturning in adverse environmental conditions, such as strong wind.

The Canopy
The canopy of the lighting tower HT PK10/4 SX is made of hot galvanized carbon steel sheets and the soundproofi ng materials are highly fire resistant and self-extinguishing. The steel metal sheets are pre-washed and degreased before getting powder coated. Thanks to the advanced technical solutions and the special care in silencing the canopy, the new lighting unit achieves the maximum noise level reduction: 60 dB(A) at 7 meters.
Easy maintenance
Maintenance operations are extremely easy.
A WIDE DOOR, placed on the rear side, allows easy and fast accessto THE ENGINE/ALTERNATOR COMPARTMENT. The filters, all placed on the engine's side, can be easily and quickly replaced. The ACCESS TO THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND TO THE REACTIVE BALLASTS can be easily carried out removing the metallic panel placed on the front part of the lighting unit. Two panels are placed on the control board’s side, allowing access to the BATTERY COMPARTMENT and to the REAR OF THE ALTERNATOR.
A WATERTIGHT NAUTICAL TYPE CAP, placed on the top of the canopy, facilitates the control of the liquid level in the radiator, while an OIL EXTRACTION PUMP, on the filter's side, makes oil change easier. The lighting tower has a TOOLS BOX in which you can place the tools for ordinary maintenance and spare lamps.

The hydraulic lighting tower has a FUEL TANK OF 140 LITRES WITH AN EXTERNAL FUEL CAP WITH KEY. It has an 85 HOUR AUTONOMY, which represents an advantage above all on building sites, refuelling can be done once a week with a considerable reduction in refuelling costs.
