Founded at the beginning of the 1990s, TecnoGen quickly earned the customer's trust on the national market because of the high quality of its products.
Its expansion strategy, which has been carried out by a young and dynamic management team, soon determined a quick transformation of the company, that turned from producer operating into the national market to world-wide reality, which presently is known in and serves more than 50 Countries.
The entire production process is still carried out in branch offices located in Italy. The most modern one is located in Piacenza, in the Emilia Romagna region, which is well-known for its tradition of successes in the engineering field and engine production.
Research and development dedicated to respecting and protecting the environment
TecnoGen's commitment for sustainable development is represented by the choice to produce power generators that burn alternative and renewable fuels, such as vegetal oil, methane and biogas.
In the new plant located in Piacenza, TecnoGen developed a new innovative methane cogeneration system which produces electricity and heat. Waste heat is thus recycled for the productive process and for air-conditioning.
The quality of our future will largely depend on whether the productive system will be able to optimize the available energy and reduce by a significant amount its environmental impact. TecnoGen accepted this challenge with enthusiasm!

TecnoGen owns four productive branch offices in Italy, which produce 14.000 generators yearly for the global market.
Through a selected net of distributors, TecnoGen is also present in many countries all over the world. The building of the new production plant, that extends for more than 19.000m2 covered on a site whose total area is 46.000m2, has allowed the growth of the production by a significant amount.
The new branch office is located near Piacenza, in a strategic position between the main railway lines and motorways which strategically connect it to the most important national airports and ports and European transport routes.
With the building of the new office, TecnoGen extended to a total covered area of more than 57.000m2 and can now easily adjust its production to the global demand, while still putting much attention to the quality of its products.
